1. When baptized

Acts 22:16 (NKJV): 16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

2. During the Holy Communion

Hebrews 9:22 (NKJV): 22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Matthew 26:27–29 (NKJV): 27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
